Backbone of Gauteng Protection

The Backbone of Gauteng Protection

  1. Management
Our management team has been hand selected over the years and forms a formidable team with one common goal: Client Satisfaction. Senior management is available on their cell phones 24 hours per day to assist and even respond to situations where their presence might be required.

  2. Control Room
We have our own Control Room which is manned 24 hours per day, 365.25 days per year. The Control Room forms the heart of our operations – from here all communications are monitored, Response Vehicles dispatched and tracked, personnel managed, site reports logged, Supervisors tracked, Emergency Services contacted, etc.

  3. Communication
Communication between our Control Room and all our posts is achieved by means of two-way radios. Each post is required to give a situation report to the Control Room at least once every 60 minutes. Should a post fail to report, a Response Vehicle is immediately dispatched to the site to investigate.

  4. Supervision
All of our posts are visited at least once per shift by one of our Supervisors. These visits are logged in the site's Occurrence Book, as well as by the on-line tracking system fitted to our patrol vehicles.

Regular visits to our personnel on duty by the Supervisors, and occasionally by Senior Management, ensure that the personnels' morale stays up, which enables us to deliver a better service to our clients.

  5. Training
We ensure excellent service delivery through proper on going training and evaluation of all our personnel, from the lowest level guards up to Senior Management.

Our Response Officers have to attend a bi-monthly firearms training and evaluation day presented by Defensive Training Concepts, who specializes in tactical training of high-risk personnel.
